The rooms

The casino resort opened on June 20, 2023, and the hotel followed on August 1, 2023, with 400 rooms. The hotel phone number is 437-294-3586. Each night carries a resort fee of $19.99 plus tax.

Three accessible room types are offered: the Racetrack Accessible King, the Premium Accessible Two Queen and the Accessible Corner Suites. Each has a roll-in shower 60 inches wide, a fixed shower seat, grab bars and a raised toilet seat. All three are wheelchair accessible.

Smoke of any kind is out: the hotel is 100% smoke-free, including cannabis, e-cigarettes and vaping. Anyone 19 or older can make a reservation. Children may stay, but may not enter 19+ areas, including the casino floor and the dining on the gaming floor. Check-in begins at 4 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM.

Downstairs after dark

The casino and the hotel at 1133 Queens Plate Drive are open 24/7. The poker room, on Level Two of the Grandstand Casino, keeps the same clock. Concerts and shows go to The Theatre, the resort's own venue. Holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.

Food comes with one rule. The restaurants on the hotel page, Copperhorn Meet House, Casual and the Food Hall, sit on the gaming floor. Guests under 19 cannot go in, so families staying with children should plan meals with that in mind.

Arriving and leaving

Self-parking is free for all guests year round. The enclosed garage holds 3,800 spaces under camera cover, and there is an outdoor lot as well. Valet runs 24/7 for a fee: $20 Monday to Thursday, $30 Friday to Sunday. Guests who park on site give the make, model and licence plate of their vehicle at check-in.

Without a car, the Casino Shuttle needs a reservation, is 19+ and costs $10 cash for a return trip. Pickups are near Langstaff GO, at Bishop Avenue and Yonge Street, and at Jane Street and Wilson Avenue. It leaves the casino at 3:00, 5:00, 7:15, 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 PM.

TTC bus 37A runs all day, every day from Islington Station on Line 2 to Woodbine Racetrack Loop (Main Entrance). Overnight, the 336 Finch West Blue Night links Woodbine Race Track and Finch Station seven days a week.
